Palacký University in Olomouc is one of the main educational centers in the Czech Republic. The University is engaged in serious scientific activity. Palacký University in Olomouc was founded in the 16th century. Today, it is a modern institution of higher education, offering students training in a wide range of specialties.
Due to a strong University, the small Czech town of Olomouc has become a truly student city.
More than 23,000 students study at eight faculties of the University, and this is one fifth of all residents of the city of Olomouc.
The University hosts festivals, conferences, and concerts.
The University has partnerships with many of the world’s leading universities.
With the financial support of the European Union, the University is building five research centers.
The University is an organizer or a partner of many cultural events, the most prestigious of which are the Academia Film Olomouc and Festival of Film Animation (PAF).

Entrance exams: for Bachelor’s degree programs—from May 1 to June 15. For Master’s degree programs—June 15. For all Bachelor’s degree specialties, a written SPF test (test for prerequisites for training in humanitarian and social-scientific specialties) shall be passed. For some specialties, a specialty profile test is also taken. Oral interviews are conducted for a number of specialties.

Entrance Exams: creative tests for the Fine Arts (Teacher) program will take place on April 9. Written, oral, and creative exams for other Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs—on June 15-16. For all programs and Bachelor’s degree specialties, a General Learning Prerequisites Test is held.

A written test in physics, chemistry, and biology shall be passed. The test is the same for admission to “General Medicine” and “Dentistry”. If you apply for both specialties, the exam is taken once.
