Bratislava International School of Liberal Studies
Founded in 2006. Associated with the Bratislava Institute of Humanism. The teaching is based on the philosophy of liberal arts and sciences. This is the only school of its kind in Slovakia.
Slovak Medical University in Bratislava
The only medical university in Slovakia that specializes exclusively in medical education at all three levels of higher education.
University of Zhilina

University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacology in Kosice
The only specialized university in Slovakia that trains veterinarians and pharmacists. The university owns a hippodrome in Kosice and special departments for the treatment and study of fish and bees, where students undergo practical training.
Cyril and Methodius University in Trnava
Founded in 1997, it has 6 faculties. Students receive education in the philosophical and artistic fields, in the humanities and natural sciences, mathematical disciplines and biotechnology.
Pavel Josef Safarik University in Kosice
The second classical university in Slovakia, consists of five faculties and offers more than 160 study programs in the fields of medicine, law, natural sciences, arts and public administration.
Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica
The university was founded in 1992 and has 6 faculties. Students study pedagogy, law, social, economic, political, humanities and natural sciences.
University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra
It is among the top ten best Slovak universities and provides training in a wide range of humanitarian areas.
Comenius University
The largest university in Slovakia, where many top Slovak politicians and diplomats studied. It has 13 faculties of different directions and more than 800 programs.
University of J. Selye (Janos Schie)
The only university in Slovakia where they teach in Hungarian. It has three faculties and is located in the border town of Komarno.
