Teaching Methodology
Foreign applicants must successfully pass the Czech language exam to be admitted to the entrance exams at the Higher School of Economics in Prague. HSE does not accept any certificates and always holds its own exam for foreign applicants. Therefore, GoStudy teachers pay special attention to language training.
In mathematics classes, students analyze test options from previous years and work with materials from the HSE Mathematics Department. The English course is based on practicing the skills of applying grammar rules and the ability to use vocabulary at the Upper Intermediate level.
Reading and working with texts on economic topics helps to significantly expand your vocabulary, which will be useful not only when entering, but also during further studies.
Briefly about the teachers
Experienced teachers from prestigious Prague gymnasiums with extensive experience in pre-university training of foreign applicants prepare students for the entrance exam in mathematics.
Czech language classes are taught by linguists and native speakers. Many of them have a doctorate and teach at universities in the Czech Republic.

“My whole family is involved in business in one way or another, so after school I decided to go to economics so that I could also take part in family affairs. I am not very good at foreign languages, although I speak English well, so I chose the language school very carefully. GoStudy has good reviews and, as practice has shown, everything is so. I got in without any problems. I always had normal grades in math, so I wasn’t worried, but I was nervous about Czech – and in vain. It was especially helpful that we were taught economic terminology.”
