Who is suitable for this programme?

The course is suitable for those who:

• do not want to spend a year studying a language after graduation or bachelor's degree before enrolling in the programme

• are ready to spend time studying a foreign language in parallel with their main studies at school or university

• cannot come to Slovakia to learn the language for personal reasons

• wants to save money - not to pay for accommodation, insurance and subsistence in Slovakia, but to study from home

• is disciplined and motivated to learn online.

What is included in the training programme?

The programme includes 870 academic hours of Slovak language. Students study 5-6 lessons per day throughout the school year. As a result, they master the language up to level B2, which is required for admission and free tuition at public universities in Slovakia. In order to obtain the certificate, the student must pass an online exam.

If desired, the student can additionally choose a paid block of training in three general subjects.

Where can I go if I complete the programme?

After completing the programme, you can apply to any humanities, technical and natural sciences courses at Czech universities. The programme is not suitable for those who want to enter a creative field.

Teaching methods

• Classes are taught in small groups

• All necessary teaching materials are provided by the school

• Online lessons are as close to "live" as possible.

• You will be actively involved in the learning process - working in groups, pairs and individually with the teacher.

• We effectively use Zoom communication software, interactive whiteboards, online materials, learning applications and Google Classroom.

• You will always be able to easily contact your teacher via chat, email or video link.

Daily Slovak language lessons allow you to master Slovak language up to level B2 and pass the state certificate exam, which is accepted at most public and private universities.

Briefly about the teachers

Students are prepared for the entrance exams by experienced teachers from prestigious grammar schools with extensive experience in the pre-university preparation of foreign applicants.

Slovak language classes are taught by linguists and native speakers who specialise in online teaching. Many of them hold doctorates and teach at universities in Slovakia.
