A one-year Prime course is a great option if you haven't quite decided on a university and speciality yet, but you want to be sure that you will learn the language and get into a university on a budget. Depending on the tariff you choose, you will receive training in the core subjects, which will allow you to pass exams at any higher school, or you will build an excellent creative portfolio for art school.

What is included in the training programme?

The programme includes a Czech language course up to CEFR level B2 (870 hours) and preparation for general subjects (150 hours) or creative tests (100 hours).

Where can I apply after completing the programme?

After completing the programme, you can apply for any humanities, technical and natural sciences degree at Czech universities or prestigious art schools in Prague.

Teaching methodology

As part of the programme, students repeat the basics of the general subjects programme - everything a Czech university applicant needs to know.

Daily Czech language classes allow you to master the language up to level B2 and pass the state certificate exam, which is accepted at most public and private universities.

GoStudy counsellors and teachers help you to choose a speciality and a university and give practical advice on how to prepare for the entrance exams.

In preparation for creative tests, students collect portfolios, visit museums and exhibitions, prepare essays, and discuss current events. Particular attention is paid to vocabulary in the field of art history and theory.

Briefly about the teachers

Students are prepared for the entrance examinations by experienced teachers from prestigious Prague grammar schools with extensive experience in the pre-university preparation of foreign applicants.

Czech language classes are taught by linguists and native speakers. Many of them have doctorates and teach at Czech universities.
